How to Set Up a SuperBox: A Simple First-Time Guide

Setting up a new SuperBox should be straightforward when you prepare the connections first. Use this checklist for a clean first-time installation and keep the included user guide nearby for model-specific instructions.

Step 1: Check the package

Before connecting anything, confirm that the device, voice remote, HDMI cable, power cord, and user guide are present. Keep the box and packaging until you have tested the device and confirmed that you want to keep it.

Step 2: Connect the device to your TV

Plug the HDMI cable into the SuperBox and an open HDMI input on your TV. Remember the HDMI number—such as HDMI 1 or HDMI 2—because you will select that input in the next step.

Step 3: Connect power

Connect the supplied power cord to the device and a suitable power outlet. Avoid loose connections and give the device enough ventilation. Do not cover the ventilation openings while it is operating.

Step 4: Select the correct TV input

Turn on the TV and use the TV remote to select the HDMI input connected to the SuperBox. If the screen is blank, confirm the HDMI number, reseat both ends of the cable, and try another HDMI input if available.

Step 5: Connect to your network

Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your home Wi-Fi, or use a wired Ethernet connection if your setup supports it. A stable connection is important for smooth streaming and app downloads.

Step 6: Pair and test the remote

Follow the on-screen pairing instructions for the voice remote. Test navigation, volume, the home button, and voice input. If the remote does not respond, check the batteries and repeat the pairing step.

Step 7: Update and organize

After setup, check whether the system or installed apps offer updates. Install only apps you trust, review permissions, and organize the home screen so the apps you use most are easy to find.

If you experience buffering after setup, follow the SuperBox buffering guide. For phone sharing, see the phone-casting guide.

Finish the setup checklist, then save the support and return-policy links for future reference.
