How to Cast Your Phone to a SuperBox: Android and iPhone Basics

Casting lets you share compatible phone content on a larger TV screen. The exact menu names depend on your phone, operating system, and the casting app you use, but the preparation is similar for Android and iPhone users.

Start with the same network

Connect your phone and SuperBox to the same home network. If the phone is using cellular data while the SuperBox is on Wi-Fi, the casting option may not appear. Temporarily disable a VPN during testing if it prevents local-device discovery.

Android phone basics

Open the quick settings panel and look for an option such as Cast, Screen Cast, Smart View, or Wireless Display. Select the available SuperBox or compatible receiver, then follow the on-screen prompt. For app-specific casting, open the video app and look for its cast icon.

iPhone basics

Open Control Center and look for Screen Mirroring or use the cast control inside a compatible app. Select the available receiver and follow any pairing instructions. If the SuperBox does not appear, confirm that both devices are on the same network and that the receiver or app supports the method you are using.

If casting does not work

Casting can be useful for photos, short videos, presentations, and supported app content. It is not identical to installing an app directly on the SuperBox, and some apps restrict screen sharing because of licensing or security controls.
